I tidy up
The clothes that already feel tight on me: skinny pants, high waist, fitted dresses, fitted shirts and jackets… And generally, all pieces made of stiff and uncomfortable fabric.
Tops that are fitted at the waist: like sweaters, blouses, and sweets, which will quickly prove too short to fit under the belly and... not very flattering if they slip over!
High heels: while heels are not prohibited during pregnancy, weight gain leads to a natural imbalance and often fragility in the ankles, which is why heels of 4-5 cm maximum and not too thin are recommended to ensure good stability.
DIY Solution: Whatever the season, it's time to (re)discover all your pretty spring shirts or tunics! Worn directly against the skin or over slim-fit trousers (or leggings) and a long-sleeved sweater or t-shirt if it's chilly, the look is guaranteed. You can also elongate or soften your silhouette with a long scarf left open or a casually wrapped headscarf…

I keep
Comfortable shoes: boots, ballet flats, derbies, or even pumps with a small heel. The ideal way to combine comfort and femininity: wedge heels, which provide real stability.
Knitted clothing: sweaters, vests, ponchos… that can be worn until the end of the second trimester.
Lightweight sportswear: leggings, sports bras, comfortable tops... While spending nine months in shapeless jogging pants is out of the question, these pieces will be very comfortable for lounging at home.
DIY style: Now's the perfect time to play with masculine-feminine styles, especially by borrowing your man's clothes (if he's okay with it). White shirt, overcoat, cardigan… Accessorize to boost your femininity.

I buy
One pair of comfortable shoes, fairly wide because feet tend to swell: ballet flats, loafers, derbies... It's also the perfect time to invest in a pair of stylish sneakers, a must-have this season. In any case, you should be able to slip them on without bending over, because soon you'll have trouble touching your toes!
Two bras and panties: the part of the body that changes most during pregnancy is the breasts. In addition to growing larger, breasts become very sensitive and need comfort and support more than ever. So don't skimp; choose maternity pieces that are good quality and make you feel beautiful. The same goes for panties, designed to fit the curve of your belly, and without elastic or seams that dig into the skin, which is already more delicate during pregnancy.
DIY System: To avoid tedious fittings, we opt for online shopping on the many specialized websites: we select a wide range, we order, we try it on calmly at home (we don't hesitate to ask the future dad for his opinion), and we simply return it if it doesn't suit us!
